On a very quick note, Week 4, Day 5 (Friday) from last week was entirely dedicated to open work time.

Today was mostly spent doing open work. We had a short, quick conversation in the beginning of class that was basically Andrew explaining to us what the week would look like. For those of you who don't know, we actually have a four day weekend coming up (we get Friday, February 14 and Monday, February 17 off), so attempt to have all your Unit 2 and Unit 3 assignments turned in by Thursday (February 13). We received our weekly planners today. Most of class time this week will be open work, with the exception of about a half hour on Wednesday where Andrew will introduce this semester's project to us. We will also spend about fifteen minutes of a day this week cleaning up and organizing the class.

Homework:
  • Work on Unit 2 and Unit 3 assignments. (Andrew's notes on measurement are up on his DP in the February 3rd post titled "Unit 3- Measurement." My notes are in the February 3rd post of this blog. If you would like this week's Weekly Planner, the Unit 3 worksheets, and parts 1 & 2 of one of this unit's labs, you can also find these on the post mentioned above. The density activity reporting criteria can be found on the February 6, 2014 post on his DP.)
